Skincare Tips for Spring

Aesthetics / March 20, 2023

Spring has officially sprung! Here are our experts’ top skincare tips for spring to help keep your skin healthy & glowing all season long:

1. Start Exfoliating Again this Spring

If you took a break from physical and chemical exfoliants during the winter, now is a great time to start reintroducing them to your skincare routine. Warmer weather and increased humidity in the air means that your skin will be able to tolerate stronger chemical exfoliants like glycolic acid and other AHAs. But, it’s important to remember that more is not necessarily better when it comes to this step in your routine! Our skincare experts recommend applying chemical exfoliants just 1-2 nights per week, until you have a better idea of how your skin reacts to them.

2. Schedule a HydraFacial Every 4-6 Weeks

HydraFacial is the perfect deep-cleaning & exfoliating treatment to help get you glowing again just in time for Spring. Our HydraFacial treatments in Orlando, Florida are fully customizable, too, making them the perfect treatment for ALL skin types and concerns. Our skincare experts recommend a HydraFacial treatment once every 4-6 weeks for best results.

3. Spring Clean Your Skincare Tools & Brushes

If you use skincare tools or makeup brushes regularly, spring is an excellent time to get everything cleaned, sanitized & reorganized. Dirty brushes and tools can harbor nasty bacteria and fungi that can cause acne, so we recommend washing them at least once per week. If you don’t feel like you do a great job of keeping your makeup brushes clean, consider switching to disposable sponges and applicators instead.

4. Switch Up Your Skincare Products

Your cleanser, moisturizer, serums, and SPFs can all be changed depending on the season. For spring, we recommend clarifying cleansers, lighter moisturizers, and LOTS of SPF. If your skin tends to be oily in the warmer months, targeted serums containing salicylic acid can help you prevent breakouts. If you’re ready to switch up your skincare routine for spring but don’t know where to start, schedule a complimentary aesthetics consultation with us! Our experts will help curate a routine that is perfect for your skin and for the season.
